Museum Zeitroas
The ZEITROAS Museum in the centre of Ramsau am Dachstein covers 300 m² and showcases the history of the municipality, the development of alpinism, regional settlement, hunting and alpine wildlife. Children can discover ‘Klaus, our museum mouse’. Temporary exhibitions, currently the special exhibition ‘The real and the film mountain rescuers’, round off the visit. The lovingly designed museum is run by volunteers and looks forward to your visit.
Dachstein Museum in the Austriahütte
The Dachstein Museum in the Austriahütte is located on the sunny Brandriedel above the Ramsau high plateau and offers exciting insights into the alpine exploration and tourist development of the Dachstein. The permanent exhibition shows the history of the region and the Alpine Club, the fascination of mountaineering and the methods used to safely climb and inhabit the mountains.
Lodenwalke
Lodenwalke Ramsau am Dachstein is a traditional family business and is considered the oldest commercial enterprise in Styria (since 1434). High-quality loden fabrics and loden clothing are manufactured here from 100% pure new wool – handmade in Styria, sustainable and durable. In the glass-walled factory, visitors can watch the production process, order custom-made items and alterations, and have repairs carried out on existing products.
Dachstein Bath & Sauna
Experience ultimate swimming fun for young and old alike in Ramsau am Dachstein's 430 m² water area: swim laps in the 25 m sports pool, relax in the 11 m adventure pool with bubble loungers, waterfall shower and underwater massage, or splash around with the little ones in the children's pool with slides and fun games. The Aqua Track – the floating obstacle course – provides plenty of action. In the sauna area (600 m²), you can enjoy your favourite sauna and recharge your batteries.
